Quote conversion and pipeline gap calculator
Turn one reporting period into six transparent indicators. The calculator uses only your figures, shows every formula and does not invent an industry benchmark or revenue forecast.
What the calculator measures
A conversion rate describes an observed stage transition. A pipeline gap describes missing operating information. They answer different questions.
- Enquiry-to-quote rate = quotes sent ÷ enquiries received × 100
- Quote win rate = quotes accepted ÷ quotes sent × 100
- Value win rate = accepted quote value ÷ total quoted value × 100
- Each follow-up gap rate = affected open quotes ÷ all open quotes × 100
How to use the result
- Compare like-for-like periods and channels. A monthly website-only figure should not be compared with an annual all-channel figure.
- Investigate the denominator before interpreting a rate. A low enquiry-to-quote rate may reflect poor-fit enquiries, incomplete intake data or a slow qualification step.
- Start with the observable gap: assign an owner, record one dated next action and make overdue work visible before adding more automation.
